Angelo Dibona was probably the first mountaineer to think about climbing the majestic north face of Tre Cime di Lavaredo. His amazing climbing route goes along the edge of Cima Grande ("big peak") di Lavaredo and is overhanging on the sheer rock face. From the north side of this group, Cima Grande is a stunning shadowed, overhanging triangular wall that dominates the center of the northern wall. Lo Spigolo Dibona è considerato uno dei maggiori classici dell'alpinismo nelle Dolomiti. La via, lunga 20 tiri di corda, si snoda lungo lo spigolo nord-orientale fino alla vetta della Cima Grande. La via, che porta il nome del primo scalatore ufficiale, è stata probabilmente scalata in free solo un anno prima, e cioè nel 1908, da Rudi Eller di Lienz. Dalla Forcella seguire il sentierino che sale verso le pareti nord e poi traversa alla base della Cima Piccola, in direzione dell'intaglio con la Cima Grande. (0h20 dal rifugio Lavaredo, 0h50 dal rifugio Auronzo) Attacco: qualche metro a sinistra della targa posta a sinistra dello spigolo nord-est.
