The Tham Khao Luang Cave has now been transformed to a popular tourist destination in memory of the 2018 Cave Rescue of the 12 members of a local football team and their coach. If you are getting there by car, there are many parking spots available. If you park at the lower level, you will have to take one of the many songthaews up to the top. A stunning cave called Tham Khao Luang Cave is nestled amidst natural beauty and serene beaches. It is famous because of its numerous Buddha shrines found within the cave. This cave is adorned with Buddha statues, stalactites hanging from the roof, and multiple stupas. The Tham Khao Luang is a complex consisting of two interesting caves. The first one, way more visited, has 3 sections full of Buddha images. The roof has fallen in so now there is a mystical feel to the sun rays falling into the cave and shining over the statues.
