Charlton Heston portrays a Mexican narcotics officer on his honeymoon with his American wife (Janet Leigh) across the border. When a man is murdered, he is drawn into the mystery in this film noir. Touch of Evil is a 1958 American FILM NOlR written and directed by Orson Welles, who also stars in the film. The screenplay was loosely based on the contemporary Whit Masterson novel Badge of Evil (1956). The cast included Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Mercedes MCcambridge.
