An NX650 build that celebrates Honda's Paris Dakar racing history. Published on 08.20.2020 There is something very right about this Honda Dominator-based Dakar tribute, built by Italian custom builder Mauro Gessi. Maybe it's the tall suspension, or the classic look of the hulking, air-cooled thumper. It could be the retro color scheme. Location: 42 degrees south, Tasmania. Now that the dust has settled on the new 650 Tranny, these are my observations and experiences thus far. The engine is feeling less tight and more willing at this point. Torque is low for a V twin but acceptable. Useable power seems to be between the 4500 and 7000rpm range.
