You can find the Trento cable car station by the Ponte Lorenzo bridge right past the train station. It costs 3€ for one way and 5€ for the roundtrip. If you have the Trentino Guest Card, the ride up and down is free. The car is a little small, fits about 12 people standing up. The ride itself takes about five minutes to get to the top and whilst there is not much to do there, by the time you take some wonderful photographs, the return cable car is due to leave. In February the car ran at about 20 minute intervals. The views were outstanding and certainly worth doing whilst you are in Trento.
