Jon Roy Anderson (born 25 October 1944) is an English-American singer, songwriter and musician, best known as the former lead singer of the progressive rock band Yes, which he formed in 1968 with bassist Chris Squire. He was a member of the band across three tenures until 2008. This summer, legendary YES vocalist/songwriter Jon Anderson and The Paul Green Rock Academy will bring their tour celebrating the 51st Anniversary of the release YES's classic album "Close to the Edge" to Europe and the UK.
