We have been working, among other things, at encouraging the taste for well-hopped beers before they became trendy. As it exists in a bilingual city, the brewery also goes by its lesser known Flemish alias, De Zennebrouwerij. De Baets founded the brewery that would become Brasserie de la Senne with fellow brewer Bernard Leboucq in 2003, but it wasn't located within Brussels until 2010.
