GROOTHOOFDSPOORT. Op de noordelijkste punt der oude stad gelegen poort uit ca. 1325, in de huidige vorm grotendeels uit 1618, gewijzigd in 1692 toen de huidige koepel werd gebouwd. Gerestaureerd 1925-27. GEBOUW op rechthoekige plattegrond met rijk versierde renaissancegevels. Rivierzijde: vensters met opzetstukken met koppen op de kroonlijsten.
