Den Haag HS (English: The Hague HS), an abbreviation of the original name Den Haag Hollands Spoor ( The Hague Holland Rail ), is the oldest train station in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands, located on the Amsterdam-Haarlem-Rotterdam railway. Station Den Haag HS ( station Hollands Spoor) is het oudste van Den Haag. De naam van het station is ontleend aan de vroegere Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij (HIJSM). Het is het tweede hoofdstation van Den Haag en is in tegenstelling tot station Den Haag Centraal geen kopstation. Alle treinen naar en van Rotterdam en verder stoppen er.

On the other hand, if you need to go to Amsterdam Zuid (South), then Den Haag Centraal is better: there are 4 trains to there, and none from HS. Of course it also depends on where you need to be in Den Haag.
