For a film as beautifully shot and splendidly acted as `Io Sono L'amore', it is disappointing for me to find the film almost void of all intended poignancy. This sites reviewer mentions a balance between sublime and silly, and I totally concur with the argument that this particular film struggles to juggle both `apposing' factions. The sublime.
