As an arts educator I develop courses and programs to provide time, space and ideas for students to explore themselves and their ideas. My teaching practice ties in close with my artistic practice, making for a strong vision on what arts education should be; challenging, fun, critical and mildly chaotic! Jan van Egmond, was one of the first leaders of the Cods and visited the Holy places as a cross Knight. In 1483 he followed his father as Lord of Egmond and became at the diploma of Maximilian in Brussels on 12 november 1486 elevated to 1st count of Egmond. Jan van Egmond, nicknamed 'Jan the Lame', was born on 3 April 1438. Upon his father Willem's death in 1483, he inherited the lordship of Egmond and Baer. In the same year he became Stadholder of Holland and Zeeland, a position he would hold until his death. He was a political supporter of Maximilian of Austria, who appointed him. Combining the roles of teacher, artist, innovator and networker is integral to my leadership style for learning and working communities. Currently I am available for new challenges in Groningen, but also the Netherlands and abroad. For my full resumé, please visit LinkedIn and if you'd like my helping hand, find me at
