We are trying to decide if we should stay in the East Village or the West Village. Please let me know your opinion and why. Is there a shuttle between the 2 villages? March 6, 2018 The Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is divided into an east and a west village. While the east village is the older and more charming one, the west village is definitely the one where the magic happens. We stayed in the east village and really enjoyed the hygge feeling there.
