The centre provides lodges, chalets and campsites covering 17 hectares of land. It is open to Scouts year round, as well as to non-Scouts for most of the year. High up in the mountains, Kandersteg can be found in the Jungfrau-Aletsch region of the Swiss Alps, about 65km from Bern, or a 1 hour train journey away. You can reach us by plane, train, car or coach. The local bus from the station is free if you wear your Scout scarf.

Camp Alpine takes place on the grounds of the Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC). KISC sits amongst the one of the most beautiful mountain backdrops that Switzerland offers. Camp Alpine is a traditional Scout Camp with a difference. It offers a combination of an excellent Merit Badge program and a full-fledged High Adventure Program.
