Recently opened, the owners produce around 100 of their own jenevers and liqueurs from discovered recipes, available for tasting at the Proeflokaal het Gemaal. It takes a bit of effort to get there, but when you feel the breeze and gaze over the water while sipping strawberry or apple jenever made.

Distillery 't Nieuwe Diep is a fantastic spot to get away from the hussle of the city. The distillery is tucked away in the Flevopark. A rather unknown park in Amsterdam (let all the others run to the Vondelpark). The building was built in 1880 as a pomp house. They renovated it in 2009 and opened it in 2010 as a distillery for jenever. Located in a renovated pumping station on the water near the entrance to the Flevopark, this small distillery is partly owned by former archaeologist Kees Filius who has a passion for the Dutch tradition of distilling spirits..
