This is followed by a good 1000km on English soil, followed by 400km in the Netherlands. From Holland you cycle a little over 900km on German soil and then you can cycle to Denmark and Sweden to Norway. It's the only NCN route over 1000 miles long, and forms the UK leg of the North Sea Cycle Route. It's all fully signposted, apart from a short missing section after Whitby. About. This is the approximate route of the north sea cycle route in norway between Kristiansand and Stavanger. There are a few spots where the route is a little hard to find. Also there are a few spots where the route follows dirt and gravel tracks which I don't think are marked on Google Maps. It's a very tough route, especially on a tourer.
