What makes Samadai so special, though, is the pod of spinner dolphins (numbering up to 480) that regularly visits the lagoon. Shaab Samadai is a protected marine park, whose access is regulated: - Dedicated zones have been created in the reef: a clear no-entry zone corresponding with the inner lagoon, called Zone A, was established to provide a sanctuary to the dolphins. Zone B is designed for swimmers and snorkelers, where transit of speedboats is prohibited.
