Released April 29th, 2001, 'The Mummy Returns' stars Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, John Hannah, Arnold Vosloo The PG-13 movie has a runtime of about 2 hr 10 min, and received a user score of 63. The Mummy is one of my all-time favorites and a prime example of how an adventure movie should be done. Sadly, this one is a weaker retread of the first with more focus on action and special effects, and less horror. Adding a child actor to the mix was a mistake and the CGI is horrendous, but the humor is there and the chemistry between Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz is off the charts.
