When i play a record it keeps repeating itself at some places, this is the same no matter wich album i play. Have a theory that it needs to be som settings made but don't have any manual for it so now i ask around here. I am in the stage of buying a new needle to.

The Akai AP-206 turntable has a direct drive motor with automatic return tonearm. The motor keeps constant speed. The Empire CD-10 has a new stylus. 1 2 3 melofelo Addicted Member Feb 10, 2011 #41 good as the akai ap-206c is..you probably need a better engineered arm to get the best out of the denon dl-103..its tracking force range is quote as 2.3gm - 2.7 gm on denon's website and its output is 0.3mv which i think will need a step up transformer unless your amp has a moving coil input..
