(BLAME! / ブラム!) is a sci-fi action series with some drama and horror elements thrown in, as well. It follows Killy (or Kirii or Kyrii) as he traverses the Megastructure in search of the Net Terminal Gene. The Megastructure is the entire world of the series. Now keep in mind that the gap between Biomega and Sidonia isn't huge so it is an easy transition but the gap between Sidonia and Blame! is big enough that the fandom itself is divided on it, with most older fans suggesting the later work was weaker. I'd read it just so you could see where you fall in the debate. Blame! is a story that needs to be read over and over again to fully grasp what's going on, the first time around you'll get an idea of what's happening but the details are very sparse.
