Eretto in epoca medievale, nel XIII secolo, il Castel Dragone, denominato anche Castello della Dragonara, definizione popolare derivante dal termine "Dragonaria" che significa "vortice d'aria di tempesta" per indicare la particolare posizione a picco sul mare spesso esposta a mareggiate e tempeste, sovrasta la parte più estrema di Camogli regalando scorci meravigliosi. Castello della Dragonara is a small seaside fortress. A short hike will take you to the top of the fortress where you will be greeted by panoramic views of the navy blue sea. The tranquility of the water washes over you and makes you feel peaceful. The sight of the beautiful village Camogli from the fortress is simply breathtaking and captures.
