If you want Hawke's default family set your skin tone to the first four skin sets *Install* Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age 2/packages/core/override Depends on the playthrough. I like custom and default for different moods. And actually, fun fact: the siblings, Leandra, and Gamlen's appearances will change depending on which preset model you use to customise from. I think there are like nine different tweaks based on facial structure and skin tone.

Additionally, I downloaded blender 2.49b (to be specific, it was blender-2.49b-windows.exe) and python-2.5.2.amd64.msi and python-2.6.amd64.msi I don't know if these were the right files/versions, and I'm not even sure where the Python files are supposed to go. In DA2's character artstyle I found it best to exaggerate Hawke's features if you want to make her distinctive. It's very easy to end up with a Hawke that looks bland and average. I ended up giving mine a big nose and recessed chin. While hardly classically beautiful, I really like the way she looks. as with the default setting on Mass Effect, the default option for hawke can't be customized at all, if you wish a custom hawke, there is no other option but to choose one of the presets and customize from there. also the defaut hairstyle for female hawke is imposible to obtain in a custom build. my condolences ) 13:36, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

Custom Hawke So after a long process of fiddling with my DAkeep, I restart Inquisition with my imported data. Everything's moving along schwifty UNTILL the moment varric introduces Hawke and I'm given the option to use generic hawke, or to customize. WHY? Imported my old Hawke, her tapestry card even had her full name AND face on it? Dark skin Hawke family? [no spoilers] I made my Hawke black and she looks stunning but her family looks kinda weird? specially Bethany came out with crazy white-coloured make up and the straightest hair bowl cut ever. I'm trying to play it like perhaps she looks this crazy because she is a mage. Also our mom is kinda white?
