How to get to Koh Mook and Koh Ngai: KuanTungKu Pier Nok air offers a service " Fly'n' Ferry " to take you to the islands after arriving at Trang airport. Tour counters at the airport offers the transport from the airport to the pier and the pier to the islands. Koh Mook is situated in the Andaman Sea just off the coast of the Trang Province on the Thai mainland and only an hour from the popular tourist island Koh Lanta which makes it the perfect stop when island hopping in Thailand. If you are looking for an off the beaten path experience in Thailand, this is the place for you.
Koh Mook is, in fact, known for more than just its "gritty" village and sexually predatory roosters. Between the islands, there several daily speedboats that stop in Koh Ngai along the route between Koh Lanta and Koh Lipe. Bundhaya and Satun Pakbara are the cheapest on the short routes (300B to Koh Kradan / 350-400B to Koh Mook), while Tigerline offers slightly faster service and different times.

The small island of Koh Ngai (or Koh Hai) is barely 4 km long by 2 km wide, and has 4 beaches and 2 or 3 paths that can only be covered on foot. So there are no roads, and therefore no cars or motorcycles. Not even mountain bikes are of any use in this small patch of land lost in the middle of the Andaman Sea. Besides lying on the beach it is a nice island to explore by scooter. From Koh Lanta you can take the speedboat or ferry to Koh Ngai between mid-November and mid-May.
