Go to supermoto r/supermoto. So I'm looking at getting into the sumo life soon. I want something a little different than the DRZ and I found a 04 KTM 525 for sale near me. I've never dealt with a KTM personally, but I've heard the horror stories of "Keep Throwing Money" and how much maintenance they need. The SuMo setup has a cush hub rear and 310mm brake disc with beringer 4-piston front caliper with master cylinder. Change over for the 21/18 combo's takes about 15 minutes, drop axles, mount wheels and ride away. The SuMo setup takes about an hour because of the brake change over and a different drive chain.
