Access: Mezzavalle Beach is located within the Monte Conero Natural Park, near the town of Portonovo in the province of Ancona. The nearest major airport is Ancona-Falconara Airport (AOI). Public Transport: From Ancona, you can reach Portonovo by train or bus. Local buses or taxis can take you from Portonovo to the beach. Our activity watch said approximately 140 meter climb while walking 500 meters. Several (small) parking places nearby the road down to the beach, or take the bus that stops at Mezzavalle. The beach itself is beautiful, best suited for able swimmers as it gets deep just 1-2 meters from the shore.
