Morskie Oko. With charming wooden beams and sheepskins on the chairs, Morskie Oko is a delightfully traditional Polish restaurant, conveniently located on pl. Szczepanski. Soups served in a tower of bread and meat dishes served on a wooden platter, this is a cut above the average. The staff is friendly and the whole experience very inviting. Morskie Oko Restaurant Hotel Bukovina
By Asia K January 31, 2023 In Zakopane Updated: April 5, 2023 Morskie Oko is one of the true highlights of a trip to the Polish Tatra Mountains and the town of Zakopane. It's a jaw-dropping alpine lake that sits in a deep valley right on the edge of the country, with the soaring peak of Rysy (the highest in Poland) keeping watch overhead. I love Morskie Oko, and for many, many reasons. First, the restaurant is decorated like an authentic Polish hunting lodge. It's a 200-year-old building featuring sheepskin throws on the seats.
