The 5 Best Nuclear Throne Characters March 24, 2021 by Richard Choosing the best Nuclear Throne characters is a subjective endeavor and the top 5 will most likely be different depending on who you ask. That being said, I've attempted to put together my favorite 5 characters below. The realization that simply being accurate with the beam versus enemies gives you back your rads and basically makes it a free extra DPS/stunlock versus single targets, as long as you have rads in the first place. The golden wrench is one of the best golden weapons you can get your hands on, top notch for a defensive start. imo it's the best pre-loop golden weapon you can get. Even if it's outclassed by the time you get to crystal caves, having a melee weapon makes the game significantly easier and can save you in a low ammo pinch/bad spawn. Rebel. Her minions are awesome.
