Sprites Munchlax, Weavile, Cherrim, and Scizor all have had prototype sprites from various pre-release pictures and videos, but these sprites have been removed from the final release. Munchlax's sprite seems to be a duplicate from the Munchlax sprite in Pokémon Dash. The Cherrim prototype sprite was shown in an early Japanese commercial.
