When the shipping company delivered the car, the new owner quickly realized why this should never be done — despite the upbeat description, the car was in pretty poor condition. The 1965 Continental's simple, square shape lends itself well to the art of resto-modding, or modifying and upgrading classic cars. Just drop it lower, add some big wheels, and voilà. However, this render is no restomod.

The rendering by Rostislav Prokop updates the classic 1965 Lincoln Continental with modern design elements while retaining its original style. Prokop adds aggression to the design with a squared front fascia, smaller chrome grille, and sleek LED headlights. The angular design of this new 1965 Lincoln Continental is a nod to the original but the look at the front end has a more aggressive identity - almost drifting into muscle car territory. The grille has some similarities with the original but overall has a modern feel that blends seamlessly into its LED headlights. Lincoln manufactured the Continental over an 80-year period that spanned ten generations. This longevity and popularity have played a part in the luxury car.
