For a month starting this Sunday, folk arts enthusiasts will be invited to watch artist performances, taste local cuisine and find artisanal items exhibited at the Art-Gene Festival. The festival, aimed at presentation of Georgian folklore dates back 16 years. More than 100 concerts have been conducted during the period attended by approximately 30-40 thousand people every year. The Art-Gene Festival 2020 will start with the Tbilisi tour at the Tbilisi Ethnographic Museum with a concert by the group Frani and Reggaeon. For the first time in 17 years, an electronic music night concert - Art-gene After Party got added to the festival. The new project will take place in the CUBE area of Turtle Lake. This year's Art Gene Festival will kick off at the Bolnisi Park of Culture in Bolnisi, Kvemo Kartli region, 65km south of capital Tbilisi.
