FLCL analysis:Episode 1 So I recently went back to watch the first episode of FLCL, and figured that I would analyze it just for the hell of it. This is meant more as an interactive analysis, so it would work much better if you guys skim the first episode as you read this. When Haruko is hitting homeruns at the beginning of episode 4, she's doing it to hit the satellite bomb, damaging it to the point of making it fall to Mabase. The robot hand that comes out of Naota at the end of episode 1 is part of the robot that comes out in episode 2. The best thing to do is just re-watch it. It's kind of meant to be re-watched.
