I entered the 2017 edition of LensCulture's Portrait Awards, and submitted six pictures I took in India and Ivory Coast, last year. Each year, a group of photography experts are selecting the best portraits from all over the world. The 2017 jury members were Susan White (Vanity Fair), Phili Portrait Single Image Winner, Magnum and LensCulture Photography Awards 2017 Surely an elephant foot is of no real use to anyone but the animal itself. These elephant feet were attempted to be smuggled from Africa to the US, but were seized by the American Border Patrol and are currently stored at the National Wildlife Repository Denver.
