The band also went on nine worldwide tours: Damage, Inc. Tour (1986-1987), Damaged Justice (1988-1989), Wherever We May Roam Tour (1991-1992), Nowhere Else to Roam (1993), Madly in Anger with the World Tour (2003-2004), Escape from the Studio '06, World Magnetic Tour (2008-2010), WorldWired Tour (2016-2019), and M72 World Tour (2023-2024). Metallica supported Ozzy Osbourne from March to August, headlined a string of U.S. dates between May 23 and June 7 with Armored Saint, and were the main act. The Damage, Inc. Tour was the fourth concert tour by American Heavy Metal band Metallica, beginning in the Spring of 1986. The name being inspired by the last song on the touring album Master of Puppets. The album's release landed Metallica on a high profile supporting act gig for metal giant, Ozzy Osbourne, from March to August.
