We haven't scrapped the Mixcloud Apple TV app. However there have been some updates to Apple TV that has meant our app doesn't work as well as it should be. Developing and updating apps for Apple TV is more intensive than updating for other platforms and so we have not currently been able to prioritise it. 4 November 2015 Mixcloud has become the first online radio platform to break into the mainstream TV market, launching an Apple TV app. The bespoke app will enable users to access the wide catalogue of DJ mixes, radio shows and podcasts available on Mixcloud through their TV. Apple TV currently offers a variety of video streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo, HBOGO, and the company's own media stores. Mixcloud might not be the first thing you think when mentioning podcasts, but the popular service boasts a surprisingly large number of podcasts to listen to Mixcloud on Apple TV is one of the best ways to access and enjoy thousands upon thousands of Podcasts directly from the comfort of your living room. There are millions of hours of quality radio and Podcasts on Mixcloud easily accessible on Apple TV; in fact we reckon it's one of the richest Podcast resources available through the Apple… Mixcloud has launched on the Apple TV, making it one of the first music streaming apps to be available through the new living room entertainment device. Several video platforms were on the Apple TV at launch, but music had fewer representatives. Apple Music is, unsurprisingly, given a very visible position.

I don't need anything else, just a list of tracks that have been added recently. Ok, even login is not needed. At least make it possible to set my (or someone else's) profile as a default start page. To do this, hover over the stream's video with your mouse and click either: the full-screen icon that appears in the bottom-right: the theatre mode icon in the bottom right of the stream: How do I watch a stream on my Smart TV? We do not currently offer support for Smart TVs via our platform.
