They really make sense within that culture, and make it really feel that the game takes the unique cultures of the people of Vvardenfell seriously. 72 Every piece of armor has a "base" armor rating. Your skill with each of the skills determines how much AR you actually get. The formula is simply: Base * ( Skill / 30 ) Dark Brotherhood armor has a base rating of 30, so it'll always equal your Light Armor skill. Bonemold has a base rating of 15-18, basically half that.

1. @Mark Eh, Daedric armor at heavy armor 100 is 266 armor rating, some artifact armors have 333. You need 202 unarmored to match Daedric and 226 to match artifacts, even for glass you need 161 skill. That's a lot of investment. Also keep in mind, you could also further fortify the other armor skills. Daedric at 200 heavy armor is 533 armor. With this extra 50 AR you get for upgrading the armor with this mod you bring Netch Leather on the same level as Glass, a bit higher maybe. Imperial Templar Armor is a type of Heavy Armor found in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It appears to be made out of gold or brass. Contents 1 Locations 2 Types 3 Trivia 4 Appearances Locations Jonus Maximus, who is patrolling the entrance to the Ebonheart castle wears a full set of Imperial Templar armor. Armor rating is a weighted average multiplied by a factor of your skill (which is really low). I found this on the UESP in a discussion: BaseAR * ( ArmorSkill / 30 ) This will give you the armor rating for an individual piece of armor. Assume a character has a Light Armor skill of 91 and wears only Light Armor, all pieces with a base AR of 50.
Armors in TES Morrowind are going to accompany you from the beginning to the very end of the game. It is futile to try not to wear armor - especially if you're going to be playing as a warrior or anything that requires you to go head to head against your foes. This a list of all base, unenchanted weapons in Morrowind. Note that the Enchant values shown here are as used in-game. A fraction value shown here will be displayed truncated in-game. The construction set uses these values times ten for increased precision. Axes 1-Hand A bewildering variety of one-handed axe styles can be found in Morrowind.

Armor Rating- Heavy Armor will have the highest armor values which will lower incoming damage the higher your armor rating is. Speed- Light quick, Heavy slow. I know in Oblivion and Skyrim armor weight determines how easy/hard it is to sneak, but I am unsure if that is correct for Morrowind as well. Hopefully someone else can answer that.
