This uncirculated 1 Guernsey pound note is introduced by the States of Guernsey in 1991 and signed by D.P. Trestain. It is a green, blue, purple, yellow, and brown note that measures 128 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features the Guernsey lily, olive branches, the seal of Bailiwick, and a portrait of the 1830 Market Square. Its reverse side features the 1840 Royal Court building in St. Peter. The current series of Guernsey Pound banknotes, issued by the States of Guernsey since 1994, feature the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. These notes are accepted throughout the Channel Islands, where they are interchangeable with Pound Sterling banknotes.
