Babenhausen is a picturesque military post located in the heart of Germany. Situated between the Main and Rhein rivers at the foot of the Odenwald Forest, it offers great opportunities for. I was stationed at babenhausen kaserne from 1986-1988. Our battalion 2/77 was a new unit. We had new barracks, motor pool, and HQ's. They built a new mess hall also, it was for the entire base.
