Allergies in dogs can be food related but are more likely to be associated with inhalants. Like any dog, a bichon frise is not fully hypoallergenic. However, they are far less likely to cause an allergic response than most dogs. In fact, the bichon frise is almost the perfect template for a non-shedding dog.
