As someone that mains Shaolin now. I get why people hate it. But I'm curious to see the general community consensus. In For Honor, you can tell that a enemy has hyper armor by the white flash that will appear on the character model of the hero. Hyper armor can sometimes be confused with the term Super Armor as well. The two are similar except that Super Armor only allows a hero to take a single hit without being interrupted by an attack.

Hyper armor gives uninterruptible stance while being attacked, from regular attacks, but can still be bashed out of hyper armor. Super armor cannot be interrupted by bashes, this is the main difference. Think old Shigoki armor tanking a bash. Or how Shinobi's kick or zone is not interrupted by bash.
