I'll often run through various carts I have like the 2M Red, the LP Gear Vessel A3se, etc. But, I always return to the ML. I think the ML can be a little bright at times, but overall I think it's the best of my collection. Lenny99, Today at 1:18 PM.

What do you all think of the Steve Hoffman forums? Since I picked this hobby back up in earnest, I've been trying to learn more and be more discerning with tracking down this remaster or that.and in that vein, I recently found the Steve Hoffman forums. I'm not quite sure what to think. I'm a pretty regular participant on the Hoffman forum and The Beatles are an endless topic of discussion. I think there is some consensus: the early tube cut copies are preferable to the later masterings- rather than try to sort through this thicket at some cost, I found a first series UK Blue Box that gave me a easy point of entry- many of these sets were bought as gifts or simply forgotten. Hoffman forums were my first forum when I got back into vinyl in 2003. Learned a lot on there. Also became more annoyed with a lot of the participants and cult like following to Hoffman and that he could do no wrong. There's a cheesy fan made site in appreciation to the guy. I know the forum well and many members--I'll just stick to the.

The Steve Hoffman music forum is the best out there. Especially if like me you want historical information and you're a Beatles fan. The problem is that we fans seemingly can't agree on anything when it comes to sound quality. To compound things we sometimes get carried away by anticipation and fall for the emperors new clothes syndrome. 16 May 2022, 11:46:35 AM. [deleted] : FatElvis: And their overlord, Steve Hoffman, is a charlatan "audio engineer" who may have stolen Steely Dans Aja master tapes. Hoffman apparently damaged multiple master tapes during the 80's. He's a narcissistic piece of shit. Yes. [deleted] 18 May 2022, 12:40:13 PM.
