I've been able to find that there are three different enchants for the meshes. The problem is that I can't really find any good information about each of them. The obvious one is Fortune. I'd assume it just gets you more items. But Efficiency and Luck of the Sea seem not as clear to me.

You can "vanilla" enchant sieves and then get the books from the unchanter. It's easy to craft too. Only downside is the bottles of experience. But a few quests should drop them as rewards. EDIT: and as I said in my other reply: Mana enchanter is the way. Placing that mesh into a Heavy Sieve drastically improved my output, but into an Auto Heavy Sieve it made no difference. Ran the math and the Heavy Sieve is distinctly improved.
