On the bottom left side of the dash is a lever and the previous owner wired in at the lowest spot. I have never used Multipower before but the motor does not slow the tractor down. Does anyone know if it is risky to unwire this after many years.

Hi, The 165 is basically a sound tractor for general farm or small-holding use where a tractor of higher HP is not needed. Multi-Power is a good transmission but the operator must know how to use it. First of all you cannot tow a MP tractor to start it.
