Proclaimed by the publisher as the World's Worst Superhero Team, adopted brothers, Eric Henderson and Woody Van Chelton have been saving the day between their usual sibling squabbling since 1997 following their creation by Christopher Priest and M.D. Bright. Eric becomes Quantum, while Woodrow, who resents codenames, simply goes by Woody. The rebooted versions of the characters introduced in 2013 are foster brothers but otherwise have a similar origin. Coming together again after their foster father's death, the two become imbued with energy powers after being framed for their father's death.
The first issue of Quantum and Woody was great, but this second issue is freaking amazing. It takes everything that worked in that first book and ramps it up to eleven. Quantum and Woody is divine, a holy experience of the comic book medium. Read it, mortals!
