Need carb help - rough, rich Suzuki 800. I bought this bike last spring with just under 20K and have ridden it about 4000 miles since then. It is a 2001 Marauder VZ800 with V&H Cruizer pipes and what I was told was a "stage 1" jet kit (by the previous owner). Also the engine has been de-paired and it has brand new OEM air filters. I have no idea if it will replace the 650 V-twin or supplement it. But this new bike is definitely heavier and more expensive than the 650, although I do appreciate its 5.3 gallon fuel tank. Re: Suzuki V-Strom 800 DL. Seems good, good spec and mpg, and although 30kg heavier then the new TA at least they haven't skimped on the steel frame, rear trestled subframe looks good.
