The Dutch bonnet, also known as the Dutch cap or "kap", is a traditional head covering worn by Dutch women. It is a white linen or cotton bonnet that ties under the chin with two ribbons, and is often decorated with lace trim. These colors are versatile and easy to mix and match. Plus, they are timeless and never go out of style. You can't go wrong with a classic black coat or a white button-down shirt. Or, try a full monochrome look for ultimate Dutch coolness. Back in the old days, typical Dutch fashion varied a lot per region. The famous pointed white bonnets that were worn by women could be found in Volendam, while Urk was more known for their flowing veil-like hats. The Dutch were also very pragmatic about their clothes.
