This is our review of business class on a Turkish Airlines Airbus A321neo from Istanbul to London Heathrow. After enjoying the comforts of Turkish Airline's long haul product on a Boeing 787-9 (click for our review) on the way there, it was time to come back on a short-haul A321neo. There are 36 of the Airbus A321 in the Turkish Airlines fleet. This aircraft operates on short to medium-haul flights, with 12 seats of Business Class and 176 seats of Economy Class. April 11, 2019 33 Turkish Airlines is an airline that's really growing on me. I used to think they were good, but I think at this point their overall business class experience is on my top five list, and that's even before they introduce their new business class seats. Why do I like them so much? Because their soft product is just so good. Journeys on the A321neo are both comfortable and enjoyable with high-resolution 13" screens in Business Class and 12" touch screens in Economy Class, in-flight Wi-Fi service and a customizable lighting system. For what it's worth, Turkish Airlines often operates widebodies to and from London Heathrow, including 777s and A350s, both featuring superior business class seats; my itinerary included both of the aforementioned planes, so I decided to include a segment on the A321neo for variety's sake. Turkish Airlines A321neo Landing at Gatwick Airport The A321 is a flexible aircraft for airlines with a range of up to 3,700 nautical miles (6,850 km), and it can fly a variety of short- to medium-haul routes. Flight Review Turkish Airlines Business Class A321neo BLTraveler
The Business Class seats on the Airbus A321neo have 2-2 seat confirguration with just 5 rows. Another aircraft with very similar seats would be the Boeing 737 MAX. The seats look modern and sleek with black and gold finish that's akin to the Turkish Airlines Business Class on the 787-9/A350. The business class cabin includes four rows of "real" business class in a 2-2 configuration. I say "real" because the Continental European airlines like Air France, British Airways, and Lufthansa (which competes directly with Turkish on this route) do not offer such seats, only economy class seats with a blocked middle.
