The 900neo is the latest model of the successful Airbus A330 family. It's the same size as the A330-300 Delta already flies, but with new, quieter engines that burn less fuel, plus some aerodynamic refinements. As a consequence, the 900neo — also referred to as the A339 or just 339 —flies farther, up to 8,300 miles nonstop, according to Airbus. The airline's new Airbus A330-900neo is the latest to offer the cabin, which I flew days after reviewing the same plane in Delta One Suites. Delta's Airbus A330-900neo (A339) is taking to the skies with four distinct cabins. Here's a look at what you'll get if you buy a ticket. Delta's A330-900neo features 56 Comfort+ seats, with 34″ of pitch, up to 5″ of recline, and dedicated overhead bin space. Then the main cabin has 168 seats, with up to 33″ of pitch and up to 4″ of recline. The Airbus A330-900neo has a range of approximately 7,200 nautical miles (13,334 kilometers) at a cruise speed of about 560-570 knots (1,038-1,056 kilometers per hour), depending on a number of factors including its fuel capacity, cargo, and cruising altitude.
