The Tower of Heaven arc of Fairy Tail was pretty good. I'm going off old memories here, but this arc is the one I have some of the fondest memories of. So many good things about this arc, that I liked. First, was the introduction of Jellal as a villain. The R system is a weapon the council has and Jellal convinced them to fire it at the tower of heaven telling them that it would defeat them when he really needed that power for the tower to turn it into a lacrima.
