Lake|Flato's innovative Master Plan for the renovation of the historic Pearl Brewery began with a redesign of the 1975 Full Goods Warehouse, an industrial space once used to store filled bottles. The original structure of the warehouse was preserved, but its space was made more efficient by the addition of a second story. The 67,000 square foot LEED Gold Full Goods warehouse is one of the jewels of the Pearl Brewery Redevelopment. The original one-story building was adapted to include two floors, maximizing density and providing live/work spaces for local businesses connected by a series of catwalks. The Full Goods Warehouse, the first mixed-use building redeveloped at the Pearl, became the incubator for the following phases of the project. The remodeled 67,000-square-foot warehouse is a re-interpretation of the building's industrial past. The original one-story building now features two floors connected by a series of catwalks.
