In answer to your questions, I'm twice your age, not close, 6'2", close enough, same inseam, ok and about 240, close enough. The bike has enough power and is comfortable to me. I really think it fits well. Now for the price. I just checked on NADA guides, and current list price is approximately $8100. Vulcan 900 Who has or has not had problems with their 900? Too cold. It is an 06 but only had 650 miles on it. I payed 5000 and think that I got a good deal. The one bad part about it is that the one year warranty has ended and the bike is not even broken in.

Welcome to the forum from North Carolina. Glad you decided to join us. The floorboards from the Classic will fit your bike. Just have to get boards and the brackets that bolt to the bike's frame. They show up in the Classifed section of the forum once in a while. Sometimes the Classic owners swap setups with the Custom owners. #1 · Feb 1, 2022 Hey Vulcan 900 owners, How many have you have bought 900's used? Any problems? Is there a common complaint/issue with a 900? Is there a particular year to stay away from? I'm looking at a '11 with 900 custom with about 30k but unable to ride due to it being winter and snow. I am asking the opinion of current riders as to whether you feel the 900 classic LT is big and comfortable enough for two-up riding and long trips . I am 67 and haven't been on a bike in 20 years, but am now retired and want to get back into riding. vulcan 900 classic 2012 start issue. Elmoann; Jun 5, 2018; 0 1K Jun 5, 2018. by. My plan is to ride it cross-country at some point, probably at the end of next year. For those of you who own one, how well does it ride on the highway and on long rides? Would you recommend for or against purchasing one for my intended purpose.

They have a comparison test of the Vulcan 900, V-Star 950, Honda 750 ACE, and Suzuki C-50. The Suzuki won. I don't know what they were smoking, but evidently it's pretty potent. The base Vulcan 900 Classic is just what it sounds like—a traditionally styled cruiser powered by a 903cc, liquid-cooled engine. The 900 Classic and Classic LT models ride on the same foundation.

Loved that Vulcan, but it wasn't the best bike for long 2-up hauls or even long runs north of 60 mph. Made the switch to my Hard Ball, added a crossroad windscreen and a lock and ride backrest and couldn't be happier. #1 · Jun 25, 2017.are you happy with your purchase? I've zeroed in on that model as a next step up from Boulevard S40. Had an eye for the Yamaha V-Star 950T, but like the Vulcan's lines better. There are other differences, too, but I could probably be happy with either. Anything you would pass on to a prospective new owner? -thanks Reply Quote
