Bethwin's aim is to provide a safe and stimulating play, youth & social activities for children and young people in Camberwell aged 5-16 and so support their social emotional and physical development and wellbeing. Bethwin Road Adventure Playground opened in 1989. It is a voluntary run open access scheme that mainly serves the local area, although during school holidays children attend from other boroughs. Children using the scheme are aged from five to 15 years old.
